CES 2024 has officially kicked off in Las Vegas, USA. At this year’s show, Sitan Semiconductor International is highlighting its two core product lines—AR and automotive applications—featuring the groundbreaking 0.13-inch, 11,400 PPI microdisplay as the centerpiece. The company is also presenting its new 0.45-inch full-color display, automotive projection light screens, and a range of advanced application-ready products, showcasing Sitan’s leadership in Micro-LED technology and innovation to a global audience.

A major highlight is Sitan’s CES 2024 Innovation Award-winning product, equipped with a proprietary silicon-based CMOS driver IC. For the first time, the 0.13-inch microdisplay achieves an ultra-high pixel density of 11,400 PPI—an increase of 2.56 times in pixel count—reaching a resolution of 1024 × 768. When integrated into AR glasses, it delivers exceptionally fine and sharp images, providing users with high-quality visual experiences and advancing consumer-grade AR solutions.

During the exhibition, Sitan demonstrated its 0.13-inch, 11,400 PPI monochrome blue Micro-LED microdisplay, along with its independently developed driver IC. This IC, measuring just 3 × 4 mm, enables individual control of each pixel, characterized by high integration, high resolution, and high grayscale capability—highlighting Sitan’s robust in-house IC design expertise.

Sitan also introduced additional products, such as the 0.45-inch FHD single-green, 0.45-inch single-panel full-color, and white-light projection modules, designed for automotive pixel ambient lighting, in-vehicle micro-projection, AR-HUD, and other automotive display solutions. As automotive lighting trends evolve, Micro-LED pixel ambient lights can realize a dual “light + screen” function, enabling both multi-scene lighting and the projection of messages such as “welcome” and “warning.”

Currently, Sitan is focused on AR and automotive applications, with an established product lineup covering 0.13-inch, 0.2-inch, and 0.45-inch displays. The company continues to enhance product performance across resolution, brightness, and power consumption. Sitan’s displays now exceed 10,000 PPI, meeting the demanding requirements of AR glasses for compactness and high definition. Single-green brightness reaches over 3 million nits, maintaining visibility even with diffractive optical waveguides in outdoor environments. Single-panel full-color brightness exceeds 100,000 nits and is set for significant upgrades this year. Meanwhile, power consumption remains below 100 mW, further enhancing device battery life.

With years of technological expertise, Sitan has developed comprehensive capabilities in Micro-LED driver IC design, display modules, and quantum dot color conversion technologies. At CES 2024, Sitan is demonstrating a suite of strategic products, further illustrating the company’s ongoing innovation and product evolution. Moving forward, Sitan will continue to provide customers with high-quality microdisplay solutions, driving the mass production and commercialization of Micro-LED technology worldwide.
