The smart display exhibition, Touch Taiwan 2023, was held at the Nangang Exhibition Hall in Taipei City from April 19th to 21st. With the theme of "Connection Cross-Domain Co-Creation, Connecting the Future," the exhibition brought together world-renowned display supply chain manufacturers from around the globe. Sitan Semiconductor International participated as a leading supplier of new Micro-LED display technology, showcasing a range of self-developed Micro-LED display products and applications.

New silicon-based Micro-LED displays and related AR/XR industry applications remained a major focus of this year’s exhibition. Currently, AR glasses face several challenges—such as low brightness, narrow field of view, and high power consumption—which have hindered their entry into the consumer market. At the event, Sitan Semiconductor International demonstrated R/G/B monochrome Micro-LED microdisplays with display brightness exceeding one million nits in direct sunlight. Even when paired with diffractive optical waveguides, these products can achieve in-eye brightness levels of several thousand nits, fully meeting the high-brightness requirements of AR glasses for outdoor use.

Colorization technology is a key aspect of Micro-LED industrialization. Sitan Semiconductor International presented a single-screen full-color Micro-LED display module and consumer-grade AR/XR single-screen full-color glasses based on quantum dot color conversion technology at the exhibition.

In addition to AR/XR glasses, Sitan also showcased projector prototypes and other products equipped with Micro-LED display modules, suitable for projection displays, automotive head-up displays, and other applications—demonstrating Sitan’s diversified product portfolio. These exhibits not only attracted significant attention from end-product manufacturers in the industry, but also drew visits and interviews from leading industry media platforms like Yole and TrendForce.
